When I was in 6th grade, I was never the trendy one. I wore my dad’s oversized Banana Republic tshirts, along with ripped jeans & chucks. Everyone used to make fun of the way I dressed. But I still stuck with it. I realized it’s far more important to march the beat of your own drum then to follow others. Eventually, my style evolved, but I still believe it’s better to be true to who you are than change for the sake of pleasing others.
